My Point of view
In My Experience, I have seen even after Good matching points between two horoscopes and having more than 30 Guna's people still facing many issues in their marital life & problems keep disturbing in marriage & personal life.
You know why this is happening? Because of Half-baked Copy-Cat knowledge of Jhola Chap Commercial Astrologers, predicting based on mere so-called mis - conceptualized and manipulated Modern concepts like Kaal Sarpa Yoga, Manglika yoga, and there are many such more concepts and yogas are present which are not mentioned in any of classical works, without evaluating true reasons for post marriages issues, people are blindly following commercial astrologers.
In My opinion, they are simply ruining the image of Vedic Astrology, without doing any statistical research on post & pre Marriages issues, blind match makings are made.
Without Digging Deep details on two horoscopes they are simply claiming match is perfect, in my view its a dangerous method of ruining the life of two people and two emotional family values.
For Perfect Matching between two horoscopes learned astrologers should do Lagana Matching and Up-Pada(UL) Matching before approaching to final verdicts on horoscopes.
Based on "Karama and Rebirth In Hindu Astrology" as Explained by K.N Rao, Natal chart and rest of Divisional charts clearly shows the Bonds and linkage of the family members we are born into (D1, D9 (Spouse), D12 (Parents, Ancestors), D3(Siblings) and D7(Children's).
For e.g 7th house/lord of the D1 and D9 Shows connectivity of both the couple and it should be examined thoroughly to see the Karmic connection between two of them, for deep connection one should analyze or Match Up-pada Lagana of both the charts to see the soul connectivity.
For Shorter, casual flicks, Livin-Relations, one should analyze A7(Dara-pada) Arudha/Lord of both the couple charts and their relation or influence of planets on A7, It should show connectivity and sort of sexuality or sort of infatuation one have for other one or partners he or she meets.
Moreover Relationship of Both the Venus and Rahu over each other natal placement in two charts also shows the Stronger Attraction or connecting point between two people i.e Rahu over Venus, or Venus over Rahu in any of the chart (either Husband or wife or Gf or Bf, or people of karmic attraction) shows one cannot resist each other attraction or it's very hard for both couples to stay away from much longer period. 5th house/Lord of the Husband and wife shows what could be their future life wrt to children's well-being.4th House/Lord of both the charts show how they live in next house with family members; Happily or it would be a path of cactus.Because of the Runanubandham we born in a family falls in close relations, having close friendships, love other people and shares much close bonding between them.
Below are the points explained by Rao sir based on the Padma Puran:
1) Those who have given Loans in the past life become our Relations in the present birth.
2) The Spouse, The Parents, Siblings, Relations, Servants all are born as a result of the Rinanubandhan.

Astrologically for understanding Runanubandham and Karmic relations between two people, we need to first understand the karka of planets responsible for karmic linkage and bondages i.e Venus, Rahu, Saturn and AK, Darakarka connection between two people in natal/Navamsa chart.
Linkage of Venus of two charts with Rahu and Mars and Darakaraka planet/Lord shows our partners/wife/husband characteristics, nature and soul of the partner we are seeking from long past or we may get or influenced by it because of soul level connectivity .
Darakarka can be any planet having lowers degree in chart i.e Sun, Moon, Mercury etc and the house Darakarka is attached with that, shows the learning and lessons connected with that, if DK is somehow afflicted by Nodes or other separative planets, it can shows the level of sufferings and lessons we may get by the Partner i.e it can be monetary, relationship and sexual lessons too.Purpose of any chara Karka in any of the chart is to filter that house or planet characteristics in longer run for higher purpose.
Navamsa chart 7th house/lord planet has deeper says on Physical characteristics and matching between two people i.e It is possible that the planet placed in D9 7th house has some link with the Lagana and characteristics of the partner. If Mercury is placed in D9 7th house of the Husband shows wife must be having deeper skills, characteristics, colour complexion resemblance with mercurial traits. Wife might be very much skilled, communicative, stout, Having wheatish/Greyish or darkish complexion or lagana of the wife might be influenced by the Mercury.
In Chara Karka Principals, DK Being a Lagnesh and 7th lord always be a learning lesson for the native if he fail to understand the actual meaning of Dk is, Usually i have seen When DK is 7th lord, native usually have distorted ideas with respect to sexuality and spirituality. Native might feel difficulty to understand what actual is relationship, either he refrained from getting intimate with the partner or he feels that the bond of marriage is very pious and very spiritual and in reverse case native is too attached with the idea of sexuality and libido, this somehow indicates level of lessons and sufferings via partnerships and other partner.

As per my experience, If you found someone you met or interact with deeper emotional sharing that doesn't means the guy or girl is your true soul mate, it is only a relation of Karmic bond and the reason being you are strongly connected with that person might be due to Sharing of Same Atma Karka, i.e Both the girl and guy having Same AK in their natal chart this clearly means connection of two souls from past lives, If Guy AK is lord of 5th house and and girl Ak is lord 7th house then the level of Bond will be very strong and if it is afflicted it can shows sufferings, if it is without affliction that can shows long lasting karmic bond unless the debits is not fulfilled.
True Spiritual Relationship between two people happens when the AK of any one of the person is connected with UP-pada lagana/Lord of the other one in natal chart.If Laganas of both the couple fall in each of their UL then it clearly shows both the couple are made for each other and they will understand each other in Soul level and will help in karmic uplifting of the karamas.
Multiple relationships before marriage are seen from the Strength of A7 ( Dara-pada) lord in D1 and D9 chart, If A7 is getting aspects from many planets that can shows native might fall in number of relationship but it is not sure all the relationships will be sexual or karmic.
If A7 lord is having relationship with the 7th house or 7th lord or if the 7th lord aspects the 7th house or UL then the motive of the marriage would be only physical or getting sexual gratification from marriage.
If A7/Lord is having mutual relation with the Arudha Lagana ( AL) - native will interact with number of people of Opposite sex but it is not sure interaction will be physically oriented unless and until both the lords are having link with the 7th house or lord.
If A7 and UL both are somehow interconnected in D1 it clearly shows love marriage between two people but the longevity of the bond only be dependent on the strength of 2nd lord from UL in D9 and D60 chart.

Same-way, If we see the root cause of any relationship, In Deeper reality, any long lasting and Deep rooted relationships or Marriage relationships are a fruits/results of our good Sanchit (9th house/lord) and bad Prarabdh (6th house/lord) karmas we perform in earlier births those we take in cosmic cycle of birth system.

If you had done good Karamas in past birth Marriage will be most fruitful and same result can be check in D9 (Dharamsa - Fruits of Sanchit and Dharama related to marriage and relations) and d60 (Past Karmic actions) chart too.
In D9 or D60 chart Venus (In Male charts) and Jupiter, Mars and Darakarka planet (In Female charts) will be free from any affliction, if the relations are fruitful.
In Many of case if Ak Is badly afflicted with nodes and somehow connected with Venus or Darakarka relationship will be intense and suffering can be indicated.
If you had done anything bad wrt to any men or women in many of past birth, in current birth chart, 6th House and 6th lord in D1 will be most afflicted and somehow will be connected with DK/AK/UL or 2nd from UL and will always try to disturb the marriage in any way.
Whenever 6th lord make any relationship or influences the 7th house, 7th lord, UL/lord (Up-pada Lagana) or A7/lord (Darapada) in d1 chart and other marriage supporting houses natives either will face delays in the marriages,suffers or if somehow native falls in relation of love or close bonding, relationship will be like a path of cactus or level of suffering in that relationship will be intense or severe and can be soul revealing.In severe cases AK is closely influenced nodes and somehow connected with DK/Venus/UL/A7 lord.
In many of cases i have seen if AK is deeply afflicted or some way connected with Suffering (8th lord) houses/lords/nodes or has some relation with either Venus or UL or A7 arudha it can also shows problem after getting relationship. The only Purpose of all is to realise the soul, the lesson of pasts karmic actions or realising the pending karamas and moving ahead after the pain and guilt, just to self realise same-way one has given sufferings to the other, you also also have to go through with same pain. Karmas role is to always realise or teach the soul suffering for deeper spiritual growth in current birth.

This can be check in D9 chart with the strength of Ak, If Ak is deeply conjugated with Malefic planets/nodes or debilitated placed in trik Bhavas from Lagana of D9, it clearly indicates level of soul suffering will be intense and one has to suffer badly on account of past deeds and possibility is too that either native fall back in this birth unless and until he realizes the true essence of lessons , as Ak is weakly placed and debilitated too. Debellation shows the Tamao Guna nature of the soul , means bad karmic actions in this birth.
Choice is clearly in the hands of native what he want to achieve from that suffering, rise from that or fall in that. This clearly suggests one has to pay back its karma in any form, either in this birth or in next birth if somehow native able to carry forward it to next with the blessings of Seers and divine souls.
In Broader level Good Karamas are mainly categorised in Sanchit Karamas, even though bad are also categorised in it too but level of result is quiet different. Result of Sanchit karma can come out at any time in your life when good dashas and transit supports. May be it can come in pre-marriage life or may be after post marriage life.It is purely dependent on transits of slow moving planets with dashas of 6th/8th/12th or nodes on those houses having relation with past deeds.
